ABOUT US

Ruby Rose, MD, ABOIM, CIDN

Ruby Rose, MD is a medical doctor double board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Integrative Medicine.

Originally from New York City, Dr. Rose attended Vassar college and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. After working as an EMT and research technician, she decided to pursue medicine and attended Tufts University Medical School in Boston. She was naturally drawn to the fast-paced, multigenerational field of Emergency Medicine, working as a flight physician during her residency at the University of Massachusetts. After completing her final year as Chief Resident, she stayed on as an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at UMass and continued to teach locally and internationally. After years practicing as a busy ER physician while raising 3 young children, Dr. Rose realized the impact her work lifestyle was having on her health and decided to pursue a longtime interest in complementary medicine and completed a fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in 2019. She stumbled upon an effective treatment for musculoskeletal pain after a car accident and decided to implement this into her own practice and later obtained a certification in dry needling with Dr. Ma’s Integrative Dry Needling Institute. She is a lifelong student of medicine and is currently working on her Functional Medicine certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine program.

Through integrative and functional methods that combine nutrition, mind-body awareness, movement and hands-on healing, Dr. Rose found her passion for preventative care and natural pain management. Today, she merges her expertise in complementary therapies with traditional medical practices. Dr. Rose has a hands-on approach, taking time with her patients with the goal of optimizing recovery and overall health. She enjoys drawing from her Emergency Medicine knowledge tackling stubborn medical conundrums in all ages.
